 Antti Pirnes
Antti is the Chairman and Founder of Patiq Ltd. Antti has a background in
market and patent research (especially in patent analysis), biotechnology
research and application development and as an entrepreneur.
Antti has worked as a biotechnology research team leader at the Finnish
based biopharmaceutical company UniCrop Ltd. Antti has founded and managed
a business intelligence company and served as a patent information
specialist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, which is the
biggest contract research organisation in Northern Europe.
Antti has special knowledge on peering and evaluation of new technologies
in the fields of life sciences (biotechnology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals)
and consultation in IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) related questions.
Antti has evaluated hundreds of business ideas from IPR perspective and
consulted the CEO's of many growth companies, many of them VC-backed.
Antti has completed his masterīs in Biotechnology from Helsinki University,
Biotech management program (part of MBA) in Helsinki School of Economics
and IPR management and engineering program in Lifelong Learning Institute
Dipoli.
