State-of-the-art Patent Analysis

The analysis is carried out from the professional patent databases to get a broad view of a particular technology area, before a firm invests heavily in a research project. Patentability Analysis

The purpose of this analysis it to determine if an invention is truly novel or to learn if someone has already invented it. Patentability analysis is critical to allow the firm to decide whether to spend the time and money to go for a next step and apply for a patent or to develop the creative work further.

Freedom-to-Operate Analysis

Freedom-to-Operate Analysis is used to find out whether a particular technology may or may not infringe on an in-force patent. Firms conduct Freedom-to-operate analysis when they plan a new research project or consider entering a new target market with their product.

Invalidation Analysis

Invalidation analysis will be done after a possible threatening patent has been issued and there rises the need to conduct invalidation and find prior art to invalidate a pre-existing patent. The purpose of a invalidation analysis is to try and find prior art that the patent examiner overlooked so that a patent can be declared invalid. Analysis can be delivered with interpretation and claim chart or without (just the search strategy and the result material) according to the needs of the customer.

Patent Radar

Patent Radar is used to stay on track with emerging patents that are filed in a specific technology development area. It monitors competitors and potential partners, new technologies, legal status or patent families. Above all, Patent Radar keeps an eye on other companies that may be using your current of future product and services (patents) without paying reasonable licensing fees.
